Indeed, most Eurasians are Christians and they observe festivals such as Easter, Lent and Christmas, while others follow Catholic traditions such as baptism and confirmation.

When the European maritime powers colonised Asian countries, such as colonial India, Ceylon, Malaya, Singapore, Indonesia and Indochina, from the 16th to 20th century, they brought into being a new group of commingled ethnicities known historically as Eurasians.

Each of seven major religions in Eurasia—Buddhism, Catholicism, Hinduism, Islam, Protestantism, Russian Orthodoxy, and paganism—has been forced to develop under the modern pressures of globalization.

With their European heritage, most Eurasians are of Roman Catholic faith. Eurasians celebrate traditional Christian festivals such as Lent, Easter Sunday and Christmas. Eurasians are associated with music and parties, which make an important part of family and friends bonding.
